The answer was given that, “the brilliance of his light is measureless, illuminating the lands of the ten directions everywhere without obstruction.” Amitabha is a Sanskrit word that literally means, boundless light and boundless life. This does not refer necessarily to a physical body as much as it refers to the presence of the Enlightened Mind and the qualities it embodies.
