Susie Reed is considered a foremost photographer of rock art. She's been
researching, documenting and working to help protect archaeology sites in
the Sedona area since 1995. She’ll share wisdom and unique insights she’s
gained while following her passion. She’s made some fascinating
discoveries and learned a great deal through her explorations and
observations as well as from Forest Service workers, archaeologists,
Native Americans, shaman and others she's met along the way. She'll be
discussing rock art she's photographed around Sedona as well as a
stabilization project at Honanki Heritage Site that she documented for a
number of years, which was funded by a Save America's Treasures grant.
Many of her photos are in the Coconino National Forest archives. Tales of
her adventures are as colorful and captivating as her remarkable pictures.
